From: The Family of Bette Boss
After 18 heartwarming months of being served by Greenway Manor, our mother, Bette Boss, has been relocated back to her home town, Prairie du Sac, to reside in Pine Villa, an assisted living memory care unit. The purpose of this move was to bring Mom closer to Dad, so that he no longer needed to make the drive at 91, and to bring her closer to her children and friends. Fortunately, due to the remarkable, post-stroke care at Greenway Manor, Mom qualified for assisted living. That happened, not only because of her body's recuperative powers, but because of the high standard of care provided by your auspicious staff.
With Mark Scoles at the helm and the quality staff you employ, Mom's time there was the best decision our family made. She felt safe, respected, and loved. As a family, we also felt cared for. Staff took time to meet with us, outside of quarterly reviews. We felt heard and validated. Lynn was often the lifeline. She fielded our calls with compassion, respect, and resolve whenever Mom's dementia cursed her with varying crises. We learned from your nursing staff about dementia. They were very gentle in attempting to guide our decisionmaking. Heather was always available to counsel us as we moved through the journey of placing a parent/partner in a nursing home. CNA's treated Mom with gentle care. She was treated with respect. Emotional/physical safety was always #1!
On behalf of the Boss family, I would like to thank all of you for creating this marvelous resource for residents and families. Spring Green is blessed to have such a high-quality facility that serves the community-at-large. YOU ARE THE BEST!
God bless your work!
With deep gratitude,
Maureen Polczynsk, on behalf of the Family of Rex and Bette Boss
